As Chris and I drove up the winding back road to Dunafon Castle, nestled near the foothills of Morrison, Colorado, the clouds darkened and the wind started to pick up. Not exactly the type of weather you want to see for an outdoor ceremony and reception. However, if there is one thing you should know about Colorado weather, it can get nasty fast but it can clear up even faster! As Rebecca put on her dress and the boys got ready, wind and rain swirled around the castle threatening to change their plans. Just as we were about to shoot their first glance, the wind died down, the clouds broke and the rain stopped, just like that. It ended up being a beautiful day, made even more special by the amazing details and intimate touches infused into the wedding. I loved the old books stacked on the tables and framed photos of their parents. It was details like this that made this more than a wedding, it was a celebration of family, friends and a truly amazing couple. Thank you Casey and Rebecca for letting us capture your day, it was magical! Andrea
